People don’t have time to worry about ‘long-term’ political views

Sky News contributor Joe Hildebrand says the vast majority of people are anxious about their security and children’s future and do not have time to worry about “long-term” political values.
“Governments should be there to improve people’s wellbeing economically; it should not be there to lecture them about ideology or what they should and shouldn’t think,” Mr Hildebrand told Sky News host Paul Murray.
