The club's extensive search for a new boss to replace Bruno Lage could finally be at an end - with the news Beale is now the front runner.
Beale, who served as assistant to Steven Gerrard at Rangers and Aston Villa has also coached at Chelsea, Liverpool and São Paulo and took over at Loftus Road earlier this year.
