La Chat considered rap royalty of Memphis, Tennessee was quite a dominant act in the early 2000’s with well-known features like Project Pat’s Chickenhead, Three 6 Mafia’s Baby Mama and 2 Way Freak. If you like classic hardcore hip-hop, you have probably heard of her. She is one of the few female rappers whose music has consistently revolved around hardcore gangsta rap themes.
