The Grampians - Pinnacle Lookout, Grand Canyon and Silent Street

We begin our adventure in the Grand Canyon https://goo.gl/maps/AzW5hs4DAqgc9hsSA just a 10min drive from Halls Gap. This beautiful walk has the most unique rock formations and is a reasonably short walk. From here we decided to embark on the much longer trek to the Pinnacle Lookout.
Pinnacle Lookout is approximately a 2km walk from the carpark. I must warn you its up hill most of the way there, but very family friendly. Takes about 45-1hr to get to the lookout. (the way back only took us 30mins since it was down hill and the kids were eager for dinner lol) Hard work, but well worth the effort! https://goo.gl/maps/hpKEsg4Xf1JAgG2c7 . The scenery along the hike is spectacular, with a variety of different rock formations and different terrain along the way. My favourite was Silent street, a narrow walkway surrounded by rocky walls, like a world of its own. There were also a variety of birdlife along the way fluttering along the path and settling in the trees all around. Of course the main event is the stunning view from the lookout at the top. Like being on top of the world you can see for miles, the beautiful hills, the massive Lake Bellfield, the town of Halls Gap as well as farmland and plains stretching out across the horizon. It would be an amazing sight at sunset! We had lots of fun posing on the rocks at the top (away from the edge of course) and trying to spot the different landmarks so far away. After a nice picnic lunch we began our decent back to the carpark which seemed to take no time at all.
