He explained that he attacks rappers publicly for tricking listeners into wanting to be gangsters. He questioned how people would view Suge Knight and Ice Cube if the public knew their true upbringing at the start of their careers. Charleston said people, such as himself and 2Pac, played themselves by disregarding their true calling and choosing to pursue an image that rappers describe.
